More than just a publication, 7000 Magazine has always been a movement — an uncompromising lens on the world, where art, design, and photography collide to capture what’s next, what’s raw, and what’s real. Jean-Baptiste Pauchard, founder and publisher, launched 7000 in 2012 as a bold, independent platform bridging fashion, photography, design, and contemporary art — a forward-thinking publication created to challenge the expected and spotlight the emerging. The magazine’s earliest identity was shaped in collaboration with the legendary Steve Hiett, 7000’s first Creative Director. Renowned for his iconic, color-rich photography, Hiett brought visual rhythm, elegance, and editorial freedom to its foundation. After several celebrated editions, 7000 relaunched in 2019 during the international fashion weeks with an expanded vision and a collectible format — 300 pages of full-bleed photography, contemporary writing, and immersive storytelling. Since then, Pauchard has built 7000 into a collaborative platform, working with a diverse constellation of creatives across disciplines.

The world has shifted — and so have we. But the need for honest, independent storytelling remains more urgent than ever. In an era of saturation, 7000 returns as a sanctuary for the enduring image, the meaningful voice, and the untamed idea. Photography remains at our core, but our horizons have expanded: toward contemporary art, experimental design, and creators who defy easy classification. This is not just a magazine. With its bold format, full-page visuals, and meticulous printing, 7000 resembles an art book — each edition a curated lens into the artists of today and icons of tomorrow. Published biannually, in rhythm with worldwide fashion, design and art events, 7000 moves at the pulse of the cultural calendar — producing exhibitions and events alongside each issue to bring creation beyond the page.
